This is to certify that Luke Katlewski of Mode Creative Homes was engaged as the builder for my home renovation project in June 2014. The project is worth approximately $150,000 and involves
- Extension of the master bedroom
- Remodelling of the en-suite and
- Addition of the new facade at the front of the house.
Luke was recommended to me by Rob Valk of VR Drafting. After receiving three quotes from other very experienced ACT Builders Luke was selected to construct my project. My decision was based on price and excellent referee reports including my wish to support up and coming new and young builders within the local building industry.
Luke is a very enthusiastic builder and the progress of work within the first few weeks was extraordinary and I received very favourable positive comments from my neighbours. During the project there were a few technical issues with regard to construction. This is not unusual for project such as this but Luke managed to resolve these professionally in consultations with the engineer, the certifier and myself the owner. I found Luke to be very hard working and did his best to accommodate the client's wish within the conditions allowed by the contract. During the construction he managed and supervised subcontractors including one young carpenter and an apprentice. Both of them worked under Luke's supervision and guidance from beginning of the project until completion.
The project was completed as per ACT Home Building contract on budget and on time. My wife and I were satisfied and happy with the end result. We have no hesitation to recommend Luke as a builder for any building work.
